UVHIRE was founded in 2024 with deep research with hiring managers and AI researchers who experienced firsthand the limitations of traditional technical interviews.

We saw that as AI tools became more integrated into the software development process, the skills that made engineers successful were evolving—yet the interview process remained stuck in the past.

Our platform was built to assess not just algorithmic knowledge, but the full spectrum of skills that make engineers effective in today's AI-augmented workplace: problem decomposition, tool selection, collaboration with AI systems, and the ability to critically evaluate machine-generated solutions.

As an unbiased interview platform, UVHIRE creates a fine fleet of interviewers through periodical trainings, assignments, and structured evaluations to continuously enhance their assessment capabilities.
